Fixed comparison case

Fiber economics on a 4,000 m² slab

This page transfers the working Excel case into the site and shows how the economic effect is formed when moving from the scheme “M250 2*d12 A500 C 200*200 - 200 mm” to “B30 Dramix 4D 55/60 25 kg/m³ - 200 mm”.

Area: 4,000 m² Case fixed from the source Excel Modes: total, per m² and USD

Direct material comparison

4 800 000 KGS 4 000 000 KGS Only the reinforcement material line captures 800 000 KGS.

Page logic

Engineering one-pager The final effect of the case is made up of material, rebar tying and concreting pace.

Where exactly the economic effect appears

This is not a calculator and not a decorative showcase. The table shows one fixed economic model and only lets you switch the display format of the totals.

640 000 KGS manual panel preparation is not required

Concrete pump and cycle speed

225 000 KGS 5 days at 45,000 KGS in the source case

Assumptions

What to read before deciding the solution is beneficial

  • The page shows one confirmed case and does not recalculate values online.
  • All figures were transferred manually from the Excel file “4.000м2 Dramix vs Арматура.xlsx”.
  • B30 concrete is preserved as an input parameter of the calculation, but slab thickness reduction in this case equals zero.
  • USD is used only as an overview mode for displaying totals at the 87.5 exchange rate.

Formulas and sources

Reinforcement materials

Only the cost of the main reinforcement scheme is compared on the same slab area without changing the geometry of the project.

Formula: Rebar: 20 kg/m² × 4,000 m² × 60 KGS/kg = 4,800,000 KGS. Fiber: 5 kg/m² × 4,000 m² × 200 KGS/kg = 4,000,000 KGS.

Source: Excel, sheet “Сравнение”: rows with rebar, fiber and material totals.

Rebar tying

In this case the tying operation is separated into its own cost item and fully attributed to the traditional scheme.

Formula: 160 KGS/m² × 4,000 m² = 640,000 KGS.

Concrete pump and work pace

This line describes not the price of the equipment itself, but the reserve created by a shorter concreting cycle.

Formula: 5 days × 45,000 KGS = 225,000 KGS.

Why concrete = 0

The source file keeps a block for potential slab thickness optimization, but in this case it did not provide additional effect.

Formula: B30 concrete = 5,000 KGS/m³. In the Excel line the thickness reduction is 0, so the result is 0 KGS.

Next step

Need the same kind of calculation for your facility

Leave your phone number and briefly describe the load type, floor area and desired commissioning date. We will prepare a comparison table for your actual area rather than for an averaged example.

  • We will fix the operating load, slab thickness and concreting map.
  • We will compare bar reinforcement and the Dramix solution within the same scenario.
  • We will prepare a clear calculation with a breakdown by cost items and assumptions.
